First Impression:
The Samsung Corby design is chic and glossy and seemingly caters to a young market that cheers on feature phones.

The Experience:
The phone comes with colourful fashion jackets. However, the colours are not as glaringly solid as those of the Corby TXT. The front of the phone has a minimalistic design, often appearing to be bare - with only three keys to work with. The widgets make it easy to access social networking services such as Facebook, My Space and Twitter. The camera and video quality are good, with a passable resolution and frame-rate. Unfortunately, the call quality is not up to mark; there is a little voice clarity, with a lot of noise in sound reception (in some sets). Messaging is made possible through a virtual keypad, which is easy to use and responds well to taps. However, considering it is completely touchscreen, navigating through various UI elements can be exhausting. On the plus side, the UI is mostly consistent and touchscreen gestures are intuitive, which means the user will not be frustrated by its lack of a physical keypad.

The Verdict:
Considering it is a mid-budget phone, the Samsung Corby, is a reasonable deal. It is unfortunate that such a visually pleasing phone suffers in the area, which is the most important – the call quantity (in some sets). Nonetheless it is a good looking phone with a lot of features.
